Case study

Helio Goods storefront

A specialty retailer needed a catalog their merchandisers could run, a checkout customers would finish, and one operations dashboard for sales and inventory. Nexbrin rebuilt the storefront as a single WordPress delivery — not a pile of disconnected plugins.

Problem

Every product change went through a developer ticket. Promotions required a theme hotfix. Ops tracked stock in spreadsheets that drifted from the live site. The previous theme could not support a store dashboard the team would actually open.

Approach

We mapped catalog, search, and checkout first, then rebuilt on WordPress with a maintainable product IA. Merchandisers publish from wp-admin. Ops get a dashboard for sales, inventory, and campaign performance. Visual design stayed in Helio’s orange-forward retail look so the brand carried through to checkout.

Stack

WordPress and WooCommerce for the catalog and checkout. React components for the store dashboard. A Node service to keep inventory in sync with the warehouse feed. Hosting and caching set up so product pages stay fast during campaigns.

Outcome

Merchandisers publish the same day instead of waiting on tickets. Ops see stock and sales in one place. The store launched on the agreed date, and the client’s team can keep the catalog without a developer on every SKU.

“Nexbrin rebuilt our catalog so merchandisers publish the same day — no more tickets for every SKU.”
